Dr. Nurul Ain Binti Ibrahim

Dr. Nurul Ain Ibrahim is a General Practitioner at MD Family Clinic and helms the Psychological Wellness Clinic. She graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland with an MB BCh BAO and attained Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in 2024.
She has served in major hospitals across Singapore’s public healthcare institutions, gaining experience across a wide range of psychiatric subspecialties, including general psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry, adult neurodevelopmental services, forensic psychiatry, psychogeriatrics, and liaison psychiatry. She is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine to further broaden her expertise and deliver more holistic, integrated care.
With a special interest in psychological health services, Dr. Nurul is committed to integrating family medicine with mental health, supporting her patients’ well-being across both physical and psychological domains.
In addition to managing psychiatric conditions, Dr. Nurul has a strong clinical interest in conducting mental capacity assessments across a range of functional and legal contexts.
Dr. Nurul has been actively involved in mental capacity assessments since her psychiatric training and continues to perform these assessments regularly in her current clinical practice. In recognition of her experience in this area, she has been appointed to serve on the Singapore Medical Association (SMA) Mental Capacity Assessment & Practice Committee (MCAP) under the Centre for Medical Ethics and Professionalism, for a three-year term commencing January 2026.
