Tele-consultation

MD Family Clinic is approved and licensed by the Ministry of Health Singapore (MOH) to provide telemedicine services, under the Healthcare Services Act (HCSA). We adhere to all local healthcare regulations and guidelines, including the National Telemedicine Guidelines (NTG) and the SMC Ethical Code and Ethical Guidelines (ECEG).

Only video-based teleconsultation modality will be used for the clinic's telemedicine service. We use Google Meet and Zoom.

Before we begin, do note that not all conditions are suitable for teleconsultation.

If you have a severe headache, sudden loss of vision, sudden numbness, weakness or slurred speech, vomiting or passing motion with blood, severe abdominal pain, severe/persistent vomiting, severe back pain or neck pain, chest pain, shortness of breath or deep cuts, please visit us physically.

If you or your family member require urgent medical attention or any essential life-saving measures, please call emergency medical services (995) or go to the nearest A&E department in a hospital.

If you are below 16 years old, you have to be accompanied by a guardian (who must be at least 21 years old) during the teleconsultation.

Housecalls

We perform house calls during and outside clinic hours at your convenience!

The charge for a house call is $300 excluding medications and procedures.
